Weird website I just found

Check this out:

I just discovered a rather unusual website, and I thought you
might be interested in it too.

It shows men how to get women to approach you first for a date,
no matter their looks, age, or income.

Talk about a role reversal. What I like about this is, when a
woman approaches you, it gets rid of all your fear of rejection.
Plus, you know she likes you for sure.

Anyways, you can check it out at:

PS Oh yeah, I think this website may come down soon, so it's a
good idea to check it out right now.

Cougar Websites: What to Watch For When Cougar Dating Online

by Brett M.
(submitted 2010-05-08)

So it seems like everyone is talking about the cougar dating subject, again... What is really going on in the cougar realm today? What should you watch out for when dating in cougar websites?

For those of you who are not very familiar with the cougar term it basically signifies an older/mature woman who appreciates the mindset of youth and dates those who are youthful in mind, body, soul, or all. Additionally it could also signify a mature male, ("cub") whatever his age, to be attracted to a mature woman who he can get along with on all other realms as well.

Dating on cougar websites has become quite popular now and many cougar dating communities have sprung up and are becoming very recognized. There has been a stigma about the cougar term every since it started becoming a catch phrase. Many people still think that the term just means a woman wanting a discrete physical relationship with a younger guy... and visa-versa. However, many "real cougars" will tell you it's the opposite.

The similarities are that it's about a strong mental and intellectual appreciation from each person. That friendship and communication are the foundations. Some might tell you that the physical aspects of the relationship are very nice as well.

Many online dating cougar services have been springing up all over the Internet. Interestingly enough there are cougar websites that are very casual and safe. Those who are truly passionate about it can appreciate the real cougar subject. Unfortunately, there are some cougar websites that have not appreciated it.

Some things to watch out for on online cougar dating websites are:

1. Websites that have excessive promiscuous graphics, art, and advertisements. That usually promotes just that kind of behavior.

2. Websites that allow public nudity. Doing that gives a bad name on the cougar dating community and categorizes it on the lines of adult material - which it's not.

3. If the majority of the people that make up a cougar community engage in promiscuous or subjective talk. That is not what the real cougar subject is about.

However, there are cougar sites that are respectful, fun, and interesting. Some things that you will want to look for are a respectful and professional website, graphics and advertising that are not sexual or demeaning. Finally, doing research and reading reviews of certain cougar dating sites could help you make a more informed decision when dating in cougar websites

Cougar Singles - Older Women Younger Men Relationships in Relationships

by Brett M.
(submitted 2010-05-13)

What is a cougar single? Who are they, and what is a "cougar" anyway? Ever since the term "Cougar " came in to existence it seems as if the dating community has bred off a new kind of relationship. Cougar singles and relationships have been exploding in popularity and have become quite the romantic modern conversation.

The term cougar singles has been growling up a scene and growing in popularity ever since Ashton and Demi said the " I do's" in a discrete wedding in Beverly Hills. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have become the poster couple for the cougar subject and much of the reason it became such a popular subject. Demi Moore (47) and Ashton Kutcher (31) have been married since 2005 and have been reportedly happy since. They have come to signify what it means to be in a cougar relationship and what it means to be a 'cougar couple' in a 'cougar relationship.'

Typically 'cougar relationships' are older women who enjoy the company of younger men and visa verse. Although, some might say that it isn't just about age - it's an attitude and perspective. It means being true in the spirit, wise in the mind, and young in the body. Most cougar couples that you come across will say that chemistry, friendship, and communication are the common traits that they have in common.

In the traditional sense of the word however, the male is younger, confident, intellectual, and passionate. Usually he is young in spirit, mind, body, wisdom and information about current events and the world. The younger guy is sometimes referred to as a "cub", but if you ask most real cougar guys they usually don't appreciate the term as much.

The 'real cougar women' will tell you that confidence, passion, communication, friendship, independence, intellectual capacities, and having a zest for life are the qualities of a real cougar woman. Typically they are women who know what they want and have a quest to find someone who can appreciate real friendship and openness. They usually are attracted to younger to ( not always ) men who are more ambitious, healthy, insightful, understanding, intellectual, and modernized.

The cougar singles and older women / younger men topic has been getting quite a buzz and is projected to gain in popularity in the next couple of years. What once was though of as a quirky fad has really started to become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon. As the cougar subject and cougar singles pop up in popularity it will be interesting to see how its sub-cultured origins and catch phrase will evolve.

Cougars, Pumas, and Cradle Robbers: The Reality of Older Women Dating Younger Men

by Daphne Love
in Relationships / Dating (submitted 2010-05-13)

It doesn't matter what you call them, the trend of older women (cougars, pumas, cradle robbers) dating younger men is on the rise. Whether it is as accepted as the reverse, the clichéd older men and younger women, is under discussion. In a story on Hollywood's hottest cougar couples, reporter Courtney Crowder notes the theme seems to be getting a higher profile on television and in gossip magazines.

An online dating service specifically targets this new demographic. Gocougar.com touts itself as the premiere online community for mature women who prefer to date younger men. They advertise that their site is dedicated to younger men who worship older women and have a sincere desire to get involved in this specific type of relationship. (Their sister site is for the older man/younger woman called agelessdating.com).

The older woman/younger man relationship is so popular that there are a couple of shows on TV. The reality show, The Cougar, stars Stacey, 40ish, a beautiful, blonde mother of four from Arizona. Stacey - who's a successful and determined real estate agent - is eager to shatter dating stereotypes. She believes society has placed a double standard on women who date younger men and wants to prove that age is simply a number.

Stacey's dating experiences have led her to believe that men her age and older live under the pressure of a "ticking clock" that dampens their spontaneity and zest for life. Her personal success is based upon upbeat optimism, and she believes that younger men have a similar spirited tempo, a demeanor that Stacey finds crucial for her future love interest to possess - a love interest that she plans to find on The Cougar.

At the end of Season 1, Stacey chose Jimmy, a 24-year-old personal trainer. Jimmy grew up in San Francisco, where he graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in theater. Jimmy is an extremely confident, driven person. He knows how to work hard, but he likes to play hard as well. Jimmy is extremely loyal when he's in a relationship, but confesses to being quite the player when single. He's open to falling in love although he says finding the right woman is not easy. At 24, Jimmy says he knows how to treat a woman because he has four sisters. He also likes the experience older women bring to a relationship.

Cougar Club, a film directed by Christopher Duddy, came out in 2007. The film details the attempts of two college graduates, Marshall Hogan III and Spence Holmes, to find direction in life. While working as interns for abusive divorce lawyers, they come up with a plan to make money from the passion that is Hogan's pride and Spence's secret desire: having sex with older women, cougars.

Then there is Cougar Town, a hit TV shows (ABC) starring Courtney Cox. The series focuses on a recently divorced woman (Cox) who reenters a dating scene filled with younger men (making her a "cougar," hence the series title) while living with her 18 year old son and embarks on a journey to self-discovery while surrounded by fellow divorcees.

In his book, Market-Led Strategic Change, 4th Ed.: Transforming the Process of Going to Market, (Butterworth-Heinemann, 2008) Nigel Piercy cites 'cougars' - women dating younger men - as one of his 75 identity groups who are shaping the future.
